LOT 17 Disney Black Diamond/Masterpiece VHS Lion King Aladdin Beauty Beast Bambi

For sale by the original owner since new is a lot of 17 mostly rare Disney Black Diamond, Masterpiece, and Classic VHS tapes; most are first editions, some with errors, banned cover for Little Mermaid in Excellent Condition, all with their original clamshell packaging cases. All used VHS tapes are not equal. If you ask most sellers on this site, they won't have a clue as to the full history. In many instances the Disney tapes on sale on this site are former rentals that have been watched from beginning to end hundreds of times and have deteriorated significantly in picture/sound. These have been watched a handful of times each, in some cases, just once or twice. These tapes have not been played in 20+ years. All tapes are made in USA and have authenticity holograms when and where applicable. The Bambi tape has the hologram sticker of authenticity on both the clamshell and the tape itself along with the printed black diamond label on the tape, but the reel is yellow, as opposed to white like all the other Disney tapes perhaps a rare error? 3 of the 17 have the sticker black diamond labels on the tape itself (Cinderella, Bambi, Dumbo), see pictures, not rare, but something to point out. All tapes come from a non-smoking household and have been in storage inside of a low humidity and insulated building since new and have been unused for several decades. The tapes themselves are guaranteed to be in good working condition and the clamshell cases are all in excellent condition. The tapes themselves are cosmetically in excellent shape. All of the tapes include their original plastic clamshell cases (none ever swapped). Many still have the original factory seals still on the clamshell (see pics).

Bambi - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, with a from the factory yellow reel lock. Has oversized original white sticker label. The Lion King - Masterpiece Edition, A first edition produced months before release, this has a date of 12-24-94 while the North American release for this masterpiece collection tape was 03-03-95. Fantasia - Masterpiece Edition, Christmas Tape, An early edition, printed 11-27-91 when the North American release was 11-1-91. The "Walt Disney Home Video" side sticker is still fully intact.

Cinderella - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics. Aladdin - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, A first edition printed 08-29-93, the North American release was 10-1-93. Beauty & the Beast - Black Diamond Edition The Classics, printed 06-07-92. Still has the "Walt Disney Home Video" sticker on the side completely intact.

Pinocchio - Masterpiece Edition, printed 01-18-93. A first edition, the North American release was 03-26-93.

Peter Pan - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, Christmas Lead, First Edition. Store release for the black diamond Peter Pan was 09-21-90. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves - Masterpiece, first print, printed 07-05-94. The store release was 10-28-94. Dumbo - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, printed 01-16-92.

The Little Mermaid - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, Summer Lead, has banned cover art. The North American release was 05-18-90.

The Jungle Book - Black Diamond Edition The Classics, Spring Lead. This is a first edition printed 02-26-91; the North American release date was 05-03-91. Aristocrats - Masterpiece Edition, printed 01-16-92.

101 Dalmatians - Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, First edition VHS printed 03-19-92. North American VHS release was 04-10-92.

It still has the "Walt Disney Home Video" side seal sticker fully intact. Fox and the Hound, Black Diamond Edition, The Classics, printed 03-17-94, which makes it a very early edition since the black diamond North American store release was 03-04-94.
